Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines, fostering a love for learning and promoting critical thinking skills.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, collaboration, and respect among students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the class.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, maintain records of their achievements, and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary activities and projects that enrich the learning experience.
- Maintain a well-organized and stimulating classroom environment that promotes safety, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's academic progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching methodologies, educational technology, and pedagogical trends.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events to contribute to the school community and maintain open lines of communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/licensure for primary education.
- Proven experience in teaching primary school students, with a solid understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing classroom activities, assessments, and records.
