About the role

McConnell Dowell seeks an experienced Senior Planner for a new civil marine works project in Indonesia.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

Responsible for the planning and scheduling functions for the Project.

In consultation with relevant project personnel, establish and maintain accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements.

Update schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect current status of progress.

Amend schedules to reflect changes to the project scope.

Responsible for the efficient and effective project implementation of Sure Track/Primavera software for the project to provide accurate forecasting and progress reporting.

Develop and maintain s-curve reports and provide overall progress reports and other matters related to schedule as required by the Project Manager.

Provide assistance to Engineers on scheduling requirements.

Oversee the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules, methods, manning charts and equipment requirements. 

Advise on actions to be taken to prevent or improve undesirable trends in progress.

Identify possible time impact issues i.e. set up and manage Variation Order Detection System.

About You                                                    

To be considered for this role, you will have;

Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum 10 years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar civil or marine works project.

Competent in planning and organizing work schedules.

Knowledge of Primavera Software P3 or P6.

Ability to read technical drawings.
