Manager Engineering is responsible overseeing the engineering and design activities of the LNG power plant construction project. This position will provide technical guidance, leadership, and support to the engineering team, ensuring that all engineering and design activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Engineering Manager will also liaise with other departments to ensure effective coordination and communication of project activities.

Some of your duties will include:

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring that all engineering and design activities are completed to the required quality standards.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Liaise with other departments, including procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure effective coordination of project activities.

Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that appropriate risk management strategies are implemented.

Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure that project requirements are met.

Conduct regular progress meetings with the engineering team, project stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates on project status.

Ensure that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate, and that all engineering and design activities are well-documented.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Undertake negotiation for budgets and financial plans with relevant groups and individuals in ways that build commitment to the plans.

Review cost management issues and identify improvements.

Manage Department’s Budget, identify issues, and propose improvements.

Establishes systems to ensure that the organisation' continuous improvement processes are communicated to all stakeholders.

Develop effective mentoring and coaching processes to ensure that individuals and teams are able to implement and support the organisation' continuous improvement processes.

Develop strategies to ensure that workplace learning opportunities are used and that team members are encouraged to share their skills and knowledge to encourage a learning culture within the team.

Develop strategies to ensure that team and individual learning performance is monitored to determine the type and extent of any additional work-based support required, and any occupational health and safety (OHS) issues.

Comply with all pertaining environmental laws and regulations in Indonesia.

Comply with all laws and regulations applicable in Indonesia on Occupational Health, Safety and Mine as well as those required under the Regulation of the Ministry of Mines and Energy No. 26 of 2018 and Decree of Ministry of Mines and Energy No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018.

Comply with all SHLP, Environment and Social Responsibility requirements under PTAMNT Management System, PTAMNT vision, mission, and values.

Provide required resources to ensure the compliance of all environmental laws and regulations and environmental management and protection permits implementation of all environmental policies and procedures.

Drive sustainable environmental performance improvement.

Ensure proper implementation of company's Environmental Management System [EMS].

Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker under or assigned to his/her supervision.

Carry out regular inspection, safety meetings to address mine safety.

Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker assigned to his/her supervision.

Prepare and sign off inspection reports.

Report on every hazard accidents and incidents.

Provide required resources to achieve the compliance of mine operation safety laws and regulations.

Drive sustainable mine safety performance improvement.

Ensure the implementation of company's Safety Management System.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree is a plus).

Minimum of 20 years of experience in managing engineering and design activities for large-scale Power Plant or energy projects, preferably within a Combined Cycle Power Plant construction environment.

Proven track record of managing and leading engineering teams, ensuring that all activities are completed to the required quality standards, and within budget and schedule constraints.

Strong knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Plant technologies, including the equipment, processes, and systems used in CCPP liquefaction, storage, and regasification.

Familiarity with international standards, codes, and regulations governing the design and construction of Combined Cycle Power Plants

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.

Proficiency in using engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.

Understanding of risk management principles and the ability to identify and mitigate project risks

Willing to be based at site with regular working days; Possibility to relocate family.
