Job Description:

Responsible for coordinating and supervising material availability including planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle.
To Conduct investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and makes corrections to inventory.
To supervise and monitor storage of purchased parts and finished goods
Resolves a variety of issues involving the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the movement of materials through the production cycle.
Coordinates the availability of materials with Purchasing, Production and Engineering.
Reviews daily reports to monitor stock levels and demand patterns and compares this against the original forecast.
Conduct investigations of suspected out-of-balance items and makes corrections to inventory.
Assists in material planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts and actual demand.
Helps maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting.
Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system.
Enters transactions in real-time, to assure ERP accuracy.
Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods.
Performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.
Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end physical inventory.
Organize and catalogue large batches of similar items and document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management.
Requirement:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related discipline with relevant professional certification in Purchasing, Procurement or related discipline(s) in Mining Facilities and Services industry is desirable
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Material Controller is required
Have good organizational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Have strong analytical skills; Safety first mindset; Good contractor management skills; Team player; Good interpersonal skills; High level Communication skills; Problem detection and resolution skills are essential.
Expert with SAP software
Working knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and government by laws
Able to work within tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of assigned tasks
Good in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate (Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)
