What will you do?
Reviewing plant equipment performance in accordance with the established company goals and objectives.
Initiate plans, policies and procedures for improving work efficiency, safety practices and on-going training in the Maintenance & Engineering team.
Manage contractors and service providers during routine and planned outage work.
Support the plant’s maintenance program ensuring that all equipment’s high service reliability and performance.
Monitor plan effectiveness and recommend changes as required. Manage any design changes
Plans and implements the LNG Facility plant’s turn around program and sees to it, that materials, spare parts and consumables are at hand and execution of activities are within the schedule.
Review and evaluates the training needs of the proposed by maintenance supervisor.
Review design and layout of piping systems for LNG Facility facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Review detailed engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and piping plans.
Select appropriate materials for piping systems, considering factors such as temperature, pressure, and the corrosive nature of LNG.
Conduct material compatibility studies to ensure the integrity of the piping systems.
Ensure that all piping designs and installations comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on changes to codes and standards affecting LNG Facility piping systems.
Perform stress analysis of piping systems to ensure they can withstand operational conditions, including thermal expansion, vibration, and pressure fluctuations.
Recommend design modifications based on stress analysis results.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate piping systems with equipment layouts.
Optimize piping routing to minimize interference with other equipment and structures.
Provide support during the construction phase, including reviewing construction drawings, conducting site inspections, and addressing piping-related issues.
Collaborate with construction contractors to ensure the proper installation of piping systems.
Work with procurement teams to specify and procure piping materials.
Ensure that all procured materials meet the required specifications and standards.
Conduct inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Participate in testing and commissioning activities related to piping systems.
What we need?
Holder of bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience in LNG Plant or Oil & Gas facilities Maintenance min 5 years.
5 (five) years of experience in mechanical/piping design, preferably in the LNG or oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for mechanical/piping design.
Familiarity with piping stress analysis software.
In-depth knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, and SNI, and others applicable to LNG Facility.
Having Project Management Skills.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Good computer skills, be able to operate Microsoft Office, and any related gas plant software.
Good communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and other stakeholders, in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Strong attention to details in reviewing drawings, specifications, and conducting inspections.
Ability to analyse and solve complex engineering problems related to piping design and installations.
Commitment to safety standards and practices in the design construction of piping systems.
Working conditions:
Normal working days (5 weeks on, 2 days off)
12 hours working day (from 6 AM - 6 PM)
Work based in Sumbawa, NTB
