Supervisor Electrical [Smelter Project] PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara Sumbawa Barat NTB

Amman Mineral Industri at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia has a Smelter complex including the Smelters, Electro Refinery (ER), Sulphuric Acid Plant (SAP), Precious Metal Refinery (PMR), Copper concentrate, received from the Batu Hijau mines, is converted through a process of smelting and electro refining to copper cathodes of specified purity for shipment to customers in Indonesia as well as other parts of the world. Sulphur dioxide produced during operations is converted to sulphuric acid and precious metals such as gold, silver and selenium are produced as by products for sale to customers. The operations require a Raw Material Handling Plant (MHP) for receiving, storing and blending the copper concentrate and Utilities to support operations. 

Some of your duties will include:

To supervise electrical maintenance and associated infrastructure and equipment in the Smelter complex at the Amman Mineral Industri Copper Smelter complex at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia during the assigned shift in order to maximise uptime of the plant and machinery. 

To supervise implementation of all compliances of SOPs, quality norms,  statutory stipulations, health, safety, environment norms with respect to electrical maintenance during the assigned shift.

To prepare daily work schedules, JHA, record of daily activities and allocate responsibility, record daily inspection, repair, maintenance activities,  review shift reports to make decisions that satisfy operational, maintenance, safety and engineering guidelines.

To  propose modification in existing system or  new system for improving efficiency, safety, quality and cost optimization.

To review inventory of  spares and intimate superintendent for initiating requisitions for spare parts and services.

Requirements:

Graduate Engineer/ Diploma Engineer/ Trade certificate in Electrical Engineering.

5 years in Electrical maintenance of process plants with at least 1-2 years of experience of leading teams.

Understanding of installation and commissioning of MV/LV transformers, MV & LV switch gears, ESPs, Servo motors and drives, Variable frequency drives, relay coordination and protection, MV LV motors, PCC and MCC, earthing systems, cranes, HVAC etc.

Thorough understanding of inspection and maintenance of Electrical systems.

Knowledge of electrical safety codes and Standards.

Ability for creative problem solving and troubleshooting.
