Amman Mineral is a leading mining company dedicated to delivering high-quality resources while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:
Develop and review designs for civil and structural systems related to mining operations, including foundations, buildings, support structures, and other infrastructure.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with standards and regulations.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools for designing and modeling.
Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and manage civil and structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geotechnical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers.
Site Supervision and Inspections:
Conduct site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during construction.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory bodies.
Risk Management and Safety:
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and stability of structures.
Promote and adhere to company safety policies and practices.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, drawings, and other technical documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities and project progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably within the mining industry.
Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale projects.
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other engineering design tools.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Certifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Additional certifications relevant to civil and structural engineering are a plus.
