Field Operator - Slag Concentrator PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara Sumbawa NTB

Amman Mineral Industri has a Copper Smelting unit located at the Sumbawa Island in Indonesia comprising Flash Smelting Furnace (FSF), a Flash Converting Furnace (FCF), Anode Plant and Slag Concentrator to convert copper concentrate, received from the Batu Hijau mines in the same island, to copper anodes of the stipulated specification for supply to the Electro Refinery for production of copper cathodes. Byproducts are processed at the Sulphuric Acid Plant to produce Sulphuric Acid and to the Precious Metal Refinery to produce Gold, Silver, Selenium and Palladium Group Metals. The smelter complex also has a Materials Handling Plant, Slag Concentrator, Effluent Treatment Plant and other Utilities.

 

Some of your duties will include:

Mixing chemicals and reagents to the copper slurry for the floatation process in accordance with SOPs, WIs and Quality parameters

Operations alignment with upstream and downstream processes of the assigned area

Achieving quality norms and efficiency parameters

Implementing housekeeping across all sections of the Slag Concentrator

Implementing safety norms including PPE usage

 

Requirements:

Diploma Engineer/ Trade certificate in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering 

3-5 years in  Metallurgy or Chemical  maintenance of process plants

Working knowledge of floatation operations 

Fluency in English

Interpersonal effectiveness and Conflict management
