Introduction

Prerequisites:

Education

Minimum Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) 

 

Work Experience

A minimum of two years of international primary homeroom teaching experience, accompanied by strong skills in teaching primary Mathematics and physical education.

Experience with the Cambridge curriculum;

Leadership experience is preferred.

 

Other

Fluent in English;

Willing to relocate to Lombok;

Possess in-depth knowledge and adequate ability to teach your subject area(s);

Capable of relating concepts and skills in a way that motivates students and helps them understand and appreciate the academic subject;

Able to connect learning to real-world applications, other topics within the subject, different disciplines, and the relevant experiences of learners, making education meaningful;

Skilled in scaffolding learning;

Focused on fostering a learning orientation rather than merely a performance orientation;

Able to model problem-solving and consider themselves mentors as much as teachers;

Can cater to the holistic development of the learner and understand the critical role that attitudes, emotions, and self-confidence play in the learning experience;

Skilled in applying assessment for various purposes, with a solid understanding of summative assessment practices and the ability to use assessments to support student learning. This includes identifying learners' achievements and areas for improvement to effectively plan subsequent steps and provide the necessary support;

Can use a variety of teaching strategies and activities for whole-class instruction, collaborative group work, creative assignments, and individual learning supervision;

Are a reflective and creative practitioner engaged in ongoing effective professional learning.

Can communicate a love of learning and believe every learner can achieve.

Are collaborative and supportive of your colleagues, the school, and the school’s community.
