Some of your duties will include:
Responsible for ensuring that the site wide employee community have access to world class facilities and a broad range of fitness classes tailored to the needs of the community; ensuring all facilities are of a consistently high standard and expertly maintained and serviced; Review and report on the performance and resourcing of fitness professionals on site to ensure world class standards are in place and adequate personnel are in place.
Oversee and manage day to day operations of fitness Business Partner
Support the Sr. Manager and other senior stakeholders in the development of tailored fitness plans for their business units
Work directly with the wellness team in providing value added improvements to high and medium risk workers as per medical assessments
Assess and manage resources including gym facilities and expert fitness personnel to ensure a broad range of world class fitness opportunities exist for the site wide community. Provide reporting to management assessing performance and the condition of all fitness facilities on-site. Make considered recommendations to continually improve the health of the community at site.
Review class schedules and fitness personnel to ensure maximum participation.
Daily review of fitness equipment and facility cleanliness. Ensure all equipment and facilities are of a world class standard.
Report on the quality of fitness classes, ensure classes are delivered on a timely basis and dovetailed to the operating timetable of company business.
Review and monitor health statistics from MCU and personnel (sick leave, time off from injuries etc) to track overall health of the community.
Work closely with medical, catering and other wellbeing entities to improve the health of the community.
This Position will support the Sr. Manager the development of the department budget inclusive of the day-to-day management of Business Partner contracts associated to Health and Fitness activities;
Propose new initiatives to improve the overall wellbeing of the community.
Participate in continuous improvement and initiatives to improve the wellbeing of the community.
Continually assess and review all aspects that can help improve the health of employees, including but not limited to improving diet, healthy food options, stop smoking, health technology and apps.
What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor degree in Health Sport or relevant major from reputable university (preferable) with 15 years in the fitness/wellbeing industry
Have At least 5 years in similar role as Manager / Head of Health & Fitness;
Fitness certification and or nutrition qualifications; Cert II or III in Sports and Recreation / Fitness or national equivalent;
Experience with an internationally renowned fitness and wellbeing company; Strong knowledge of contemporary fitness and wellness business including wellbeing technology;
Good knowledge in Management of multiple fitness facilities; Has strength exposure in Supervision of fitness professionals and coaches; Has good medical knowledge and nutrition;
Prefer has some international experiences, worked in the fitness industry in other countries.
Good English comprehension both reading and writing; able to converse in English as well as Bahasa Indo as well.
Computer literate (computer skills and familiarity with Business Software, Microsoft Office and Database Management); Has data analytical skill will be desirable;
Willing to work with Regular Working Days (5 Days On : 2 Days Off) and residential site based
