Department: Precious Metal Refinery

Education: Diploma Engineer/ Trade certificate in Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Process Engineering

Experience: Experience in casting of gold & silver and minting line 1-7 years

Technical Competencies

 Domain knowledge of precious metal refining about casting of gold / silver bar & minting line and granulation production.

 Knowledge of Hot metal handling

 Appreciation of maintenance practices

 Appreciation of quality systems

Position that the Role reports into: Shift supervisor - Gold & Silver Refining

Peers Including Position

 Operator - Gold & Silver Anode casting

 Operator - Gold & Silver ingot casting and minted bar

 Operator - Gold & Silver ER

 Operator - Gold reduction

 Operator - Silver reduction

Role

 To undertake casting of gold and silver anodes, grains production, different size of gold & silver ingot casting and minted bar at the Precious Metal Refinery (PMR) for the production of gold and silver bars of stipulated purity range along with other quality specifications after subsequent processes.

 To achieve norms of productivity and learn continuously towards improvement of technical competencies and multiskilling.
