Mechanical Project Engineer PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara Sumbawa Barat NTB

The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical advice and managing the delivery of mechanical and piping equipment construction packages. Reporting to the Engineering Interface Manager, this role involves overseeing construction queries, reviewing drawings, and developing innovative solutions to unique challenges. The Project Engineer ensures that all tasks are executed in line with project safety, scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements.

Construction Management: Address and resolve construction queries related to mechanical and piping equipment packages in the field, providing timely and effective solutions.

Communication with Contractors: Communicate effectively with construction contractors and respond to Technical Queries (TQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely manner.

Drawing Review: Review and approve mechanical and piping drawings and design documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

Problem Solving: Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, demonstrating the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing project conditions.

Project Delivery Support: Develop scope of work documents, design documentation review, and site implementation of engineered solutions.

Procurement Support: Provide support for procurement activities, including checking Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and liaising with departments to order and prioritise material delivery

Health and Safety Compliance: Escalate and communicate health and safety issues to onsite teams and management, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Recognized Tertiary Mechanical Engineering degree 

Experience in mining, preferably in copper/gold operations.

Strong experience in construction management 

Has worked on Major projects with 5-10 years experience. 

Proficiency in process plant equipment, systems, and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Excellent English communication skills.
