SUPERVISOR FLEET MAINTENANCE PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara Sumbawa Barat NTB

Some of your duties will include:

Responsible to supervises in the day to day activities associated with the scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs of Light vehicles, truck, forklift and all units under Mews responsibility in the field and in the workshop.

To supervise and direct the activities of Company maintenance personnel and Contractor maintenance personnel across shifts and to ensure that adequate resources are available to meet production and maintenance needs.

Conducts safety meetings, staff meetings and safety inspections.

Reports all accidents and incidents in the work group to enable management to identify areas for improvement in work practices.

Communicates work group status to Superintendent and interfaces with other departments.

Supervise employees of the unit/work group to ensure that all jobs are completed to the required standard.

Plan the daily work schedule and order materials and parts required to enable client needs to be met and resources used efficiently.

Liaise with and coordinate field and workshop activities with other Mine Maintenance Supervisor, planners and production personnel to resolve problems and set maintenance priorities.

Schedules work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, employee vacations and training.

Identify training needs and recommend on the job training or basic training programs to improve work group effectiveness and safety.

Contribute to the cost efficiency of equipment operations by controlling the use of consumable parts, components and labour in line with maintenance guidelines.

Liaise with Original Equipment manufacturers’ to resolve, identify, implement and improve service, product support and equipment problems.

May be required to travel to and assist other domestic and international sites.

May be required to assist another Supervisor under Mews when need it.

What skills and experience do you need?

Tertiary degree or relevant Trade Certificate, with extensive and proven years of experience in a Maintenance position in the mining industry, or an equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary;

Have minimum 10 years working knowledge of fleet management and maintenance programs, and has minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role as Supervisor Maintenance experience working in a maintenance facility

Proven ability to supervise functions and activities related to the procurement, servicing, operation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles; Familiar and have extensive working years experiences for maintenance and servicing of the truck fleet and motor vehicle fleet LV (light vehicle; medium vehicle: truck, lube truck, crane, manlift, crane truck, mobile crane; crane operation; welding machine; tyre operation; genset; lighting power; compressor, warehouse equipment, general building maintenance, etc)

Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of positions; poses relevant technical inspector certificate;

Good leadership skill; Good interpersonal skills; Effective time management: able to prioritise tasks and work independently; Ability to deal effectively with all levels of management, outside vendors and employees in fleet maintenance; Ability to meet strict deadlines; has accuracy and problem solving required;

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Experience with ERP (SAP) and DataStream system;

Willingness to work in remote mining project locations on a regular working days.
