Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Lead and manage a team of construction workers and supervise subcontractors to optimise productivity and efficiency

Liaise with construction manager, engineers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise

Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on the worksite

Collaborate with the team to implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections

Maintain detailed records and documentation of project progress, labour, and material usage

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance project delivery

 

Job Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Supervisor or equivalent role in the construction industry

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications

Knowledge and ability to implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards

Proficient in project management software and tools

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders

Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally-conscious work environment
