Job Description :

Develop and review MEP designs for various construction projects, ensuring they meet the specifications and client requirements.

Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design.

Select appropriate materials, systems, and equipment for MEP installations.

Conduct load calculations and system analysis for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Oversee MEP installations during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with design, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets for MEP works.

Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the correct standards.

Monitor progress and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.

Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Conduct inspections to ensure the systems are installed correctly and perform quality checks.

Provide troubleshooting support during commissioning and during the operational phase.

Provide recommendations for the maintenance of MEP systems to ensure efficient and continuous operation.

Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting for existing systems and offer improvements when needed.

Collaborate with the client, project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the smooth execution of MEP systems.

Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and project updates.

Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure adherence to best practices.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP design and project management in construction

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

Knowledge of MEP systems design, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED)

Experience in managing MEP projects from conception to completion.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Experience with building information modeling (BIM).

Good Communication in English
