About the role

We are seeking a Security professional to join our team at Sikara Lombok Hotel on a contract basis. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our hotel, guests, and staff. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital part in maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that Sikara Lombok Hotel is renowned for.

What you'll be doing

Patrolling the hotel premises to monitor for any suspicious activity or potential security threats

Controlling access to the hotel by checking identification and authorising entry

Responding quickly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies, providing assistance as needed

Monitoring and operating security equipment such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems

Maintaining detailed records and reports of all security-related activities and incidents

Liaise with local law enforcement agencies as required

Providing a friendly, professional, and reassuring presence to guests and staff

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a security role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods of time

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Thorough knowledge of security procedures and best practices

Certification in relevant security or law enforcement training is desirable
