About the role

This full-time Backend Developer role at ASAP Lombok is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative technology company. Based in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers ASAP Lombok's cutting-edge digital platforms and services.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend systems

Develop and optimize APIs that enable seamless integration between frontend applications and backend services

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices

Participate in the full software development life cycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment

Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of backend systems

Identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide support to the broader engineering team

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and improvements

What we're looking for

Demonstrated expertise in backend development, with 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js

Strong understanding of database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL databases

Familiarity with RESTful API/GraphQL/WebSocket design and implementation

Experience with cloud-based architectures and platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

A passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and improve
